What qualifies as a healthy meal?


So many rules have been attached to what one takes in, but who can blame the rule-makers? what one puts in their bodies has many adverse or benefits to the body. The FDA has been trying to filter out some products on the market which do not meet their standards, but unfortunately, they have not been able to clean out the system completely; which is why we need to be mindful of what we eat. Until stringent rules are made to discourage the production of subpar products on our markets, here are some examples of simple everyday affordable meals that are essential to the body and can even reduce stress. 


  • ·        Vegetables and fruits should be one's go-to meal for a healthy living.






  • ·        Oatmeal is another way to go. Very good for the body and easy on the bowels.




  • ·       Turkey breast, salmon. Any of these is good for us.




·      
  •          Dark chocolate. Though they serve many purposes, dark chocolate is good for us.



  • ·        Milk, this multipurpose product also does well as a ‘stress reducer’ in the body.


  •         Avocado is very popular in the diet of a healthy person and its benefits cannot be undermined.





  • ·        Cashew, if you are not allergic, give it a go!


  • ·        Yogurt is my favourite, it’s a whole meal, a dessert, and a snack. Very common; easy to lay hands on. But make sure it's approved by the FDA.
